<p>JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES</p> <p>IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING EMPLOYEE, PLEASE NAVIGATE TO THE INTERNAL JOB POSTING USING THIS LINK:</p> <p>https://www.myworkday.com/mohegan/d/inst/1$9925/9925$8014.htmld</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>This position is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of steam boilers, chillers, appurtenant and ancillary equipment, piping and HVAC systems in the Central Plant and the entire facility.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Ensures the timely repair and maintenance of all related systems </li><li>Assists with preventative maintenance records for all equipment </li><li>Safe operation of all associated systems </li></ul> <p>Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Accomplishes other service work, as directed </li><li>Contributes to the cleanliness of work area </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Four years experience as a Stationary Engineer, central plant operator or millwright in large boiler plant over 1,000 BHP and 3,600 tons of air-conditioning large boiler plant over 1,000 BHP and 3,600 tons of air-conditioning </li><li>Must have and maintain an active OE-2, S-2 or S-1 State of Connecticut Occupational License </li><li>Minimum Type 1 and 2 EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification </li><li>Must be able to read, troubleshoot, and work from blueprints, piping diagrams and schematics </li><li>Must be able to show initiative and respond to various situations without direction </li></ul> <p>Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:</p> <ul> <li>Sound working knowledge of occupational hazards and safety requirements </li><li>An understanding of the methods, materials, tools and practices used in central plant maintenance and operations </li><li>Familiarity with running building management systems </li><li>Good written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>Training Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to pass both the written and verbal technical proficiency test and demonstrate the skills necessary to perform job functions </li><li>OSHA lockout / Tag out procedures </li><li>Spill Prevention Control and countermeasure training </li><li>Respirator trained and fit tested </li><li>Man lift training, (scissor and boom lift) </li><li>Forklift training </li><li>Confined space training </li><li>Fall protection </li><li>Responsible to learn all departmental rules and regulations </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stoop, reach and climb a ladder </li><li>Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold environments </li><li>Must be able to work in a smoking environment </li><li>Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours </li></ul> <p>This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
