All candidates must live near one of our centers of excellence:</p> <p>CS- Marysville, OH - State Route 739</p> <p>PRIMARY PURPOSE: To assist in creating initiatives designed to improve absenteeism statistics, service issues, and work process procedures; to presents results to Operations upper management and clients; and to create and distribute appropriate data reports including trend analysis, operations performance, etc.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Works closely with client locations addressing service issues and work process inquiries. </li><li>Assists client with assessment of initiatives designed to improve disability processes by conducting management review meetings, setting agendas; taking and distributing minutes of meetings to appropriate parties. </li><li>Contributes to achieving client-driven performance objectives and service standards within the company. </li><li>Creates, generates and analyzes reports based on plan and jurisdictional requirements; distributes reports to management and clients regarding operational performance of line of business administration including trends at division and assigned plant locations. </li><li>Extracts and analyzes data for cause and effect ratios, return-to-work and accommodations trending, disability durations, injury by job type, disability diagnosis trends, etc., as needed. </li><li>Communicates results to clients and Operations upper management. </li><li>Communicates frequently with clients' personnel and divisional labor leaders. </li><li>Prepares monthly case closure reports and provides to operations managers. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li><li>Supports the organization's quality program(s). </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education & Licensing</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required. Professional certifications as applicable to line-of-business preferred.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Four (4) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.</p> <p>Skills & Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Good technical knowledge of claims management </li><li>Knowledge of client operations and labor regulations </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills </li><li>PC literate, including Microsoft Office products </li><li>Analytical and interpretive skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills </li><li>Excellent negotiation skills </li><li>Good judgment and discretion skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.</p> <p>Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines</p> <p>Physical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required</p> <p>Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking.</p> <p>The statements contained in this document are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a colleague assigned to this description.
