And its waiting for you now.</p> <p>We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar and everything in between.</p> <p>As a Manufacturing Planning Specialist, youll create production and material plans to include inventory goals and schedules. Youll oversee the master schedule and ensure compliance with material requirements for manufacturing and manage the procurement planning for a medium size. You may also develop material cost strategies and coordinate target pricing with supply chain, while maintaining the forecast in the production and material planning tool and updating as required.</p> <p>What youll experience:</p> <ul> <li>Technologies that arent just top-notch, theyre often top-secret </li><li>A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring whats next </li><li>Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as its discovered </li></ul> <p>What you bring to the table:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of MRP/ERP principles </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of concurrent engineering principles </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of government compliance regulations </li></ul> <p>What sets you apart:</p> <ul> <li>Strong multi-task skills while maintaining focus on details </li><li>Ability to prioritize program material needs with supply chain and internal shops as appropriate </li><li>Understanding of engineering changes and their effect on the bill of material </li><li>Ability to understand, research and reconcile financial errors </li><li>Negotiation and persuasion skills </li><li>Ability to problem solve </li></ul> <p>Duties and Tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains and updates inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness </li><li>Prints shop orders and supporting documents </li><li>Supports shop floor supervisor in managing dispatch lists </li><li>Ensures operations are reported and shop orders are closed </li><li>Notifies production control of over/under material issuance </li><li>Monitors floor stock inventory levels and placing orders for replenishment as necessary </li><li>Coordinates with production control planners to ensure timely delivery of materials </li><li>Verifies quantity of material issued to the shop floor </li><li>Identifies and resolves any discrepancies in inventory records </li><li>Collaborates with production teams and stockroom to ensure that materials are always available when needed </li><li>Works closely with shop floor supervisor to ensure material usage is logged and accounted for </li><li>Provides input to inventory policies and procedures </li><li>Conducts regular inventory floor stock audits </li><li>Identifies material shortages and drives problem solving resolution </li></ul> <p>Salary Note</p> <p>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
