<p>As a Laundry Production Manager, you will oversee daily production operations within the laundry facility,</p> <p>ensuring departmental efficiency, workplace safety, and timely, accurate order fulfillment. This role requires</p> <p>strong leadership abilities, production management expertise, organization, and communication skills to meet</p> <p>customer expectations while supporting overall plant productivity.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the entire laundry process including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, </li></ul> <p>folding, and distribution of linens and scrubs for healthcare staff and patients.</p> <ul> <li>Quality Control: Ensure all laundry meets infection control protocols and quality assurance standards in </li></ul> <p>accordance with healthcare regulations.</p> <ul> <li>Staff Supervision: Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate laundry team members to ensure efficient and </li></ul> <p>effective performance.</p> <ul> <li>Production Planning: Monitor production output and implement process improvements to meet demand </li></ul> <p>while minimizing delays and waste.</p> <ul> <li>Inventory Management: Track linen usage, inventory levels, and coordinate orders with suppliers to </li></ul> <p>ensure adequate stock of materials and supplies.</p> <ul> <li>Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety standards. </li><li>Reporting: Generate reports on production metrics, downtime, staff performance, and operational issues </li></ul> <p>for senior management.</p> <ul> <li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>May require standing for long periods, lifting moderate loads, and working in a warm, humid </li></ul> <p>environment.</p> <ul> <li>Shift work and occasional weekend availability may be required. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business management, Hospitality, or a related field required. In lieu of degree a </li></ul> <p>minimum of 6 years laundry services experience will be accepted.</p> <p>Qualifications/Training:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in manufacturing, laundry, or similar environments. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and team-building skills. </li><li>Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities. </li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under time constraints. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). </li><li>Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and leadership presence. </li></ul> <p>Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses.
