<p>Job#: 3038986</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Mobile Support Technician</p> <p>Location: Travel to various sites in the greater Chicago area and southern Wisconsin on a weekly basis.</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled and reliable technician to support the deployment of a new voice application on approximately 5,000 iPhones across multiple healthcare sites. This role involves setting up users, programming devices, testing, and providing go-live support. The successful candidate will work independently, travel to various sites in the greater Chicago area and southern Wisconsin, and interact professionally with hospital employees. This position is for a project expected to run through the end of the year, with a possibility for extension.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Deploy a voice application on iPhones, including user setup, device programming, and testing. </li><li>Provide on-site, hands-on support during the go-live phase to identify and resolve issues. </li><li>Travel to various company sites to perform installation and support duties. </li><li>Work independently to manage tasks and schedules at assigned locations for one to two-week periods. </li><li>Collaborate with on-site engineers and hospital staff to ensure successful application deployment. </li><li>Document work performed, including system updates and service reports. </li><li>Diagnose and resolve telecommunications service issues. </li><li>Adhere to company safety procedures and industry best practices. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of smartphones and mobile applications, particularly with iPhones and iOS. </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be personable when interacting with hospital employees. </li><li>A background in telecommunications is required. </li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Must have reliable transportation for travel to multiple sites. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with telephony systems, such as Alcatel PBX and voicemail systems. </li><li>Working knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and network infrastructure. </li><li>Previous experience in a customer-facing service role, preferably within a healthcare environment. </li><li>Industry certifications or technical training in telecommunications or networking. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>This role requires a standard 40-hour workweek, primarily during the first shift. </li><li>Work is performed on-site at various company locations, with some remote work as needed. </li><li>Occasional evening, after-hours, and weekend work may be necessary to support project needs. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel. </li><li>Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Capability to work in various indoor environments. </li></ul> <p>Onboarding Requirements</p> <p>Candidates must be able to provide documentation for the following health screenings: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB.</p> <p>Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
