<p>The Position</p> <p>The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will provide strategic sourcing support to internal teams for their given commodities or supply base segment. This role involves developing sourcing strategies and leading the RFx process (RFI, RFQ, RFP) through award and contracting execution. Additional responsibilities include supporting or owning supplier management for their given commodity or supply base segmentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders.</p> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management of a given commodity or supply base segment within CMC and Supply Chain</p> </li><li> <p>Project manage RFx and strategic sourcing activities, collaborating with internal stakeholders to support overall business needs, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Manage RFx process, including development of requirements, drafting RFx (RFI, RFQ, RFP) documents, facilitating team meetings, and supporting contract negotiations</p> </li><li> <p>Leverage benchmarking data and market research to support commodity or segment management and strategic sourcing initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Support internal stakeholders by reviewing all aspects of the Sourcing process, including evaluating supplier capabilities and risk identification/mitigation</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare and present business cases and award justifications to leadership</p> </li><li> <p>Support onboarding/qualification of suppliers in partnership with Quality and internal stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Support or lead strategic supplier management activities, including but not limited to:</p> </li><li> <p>Developing and monitoring KPIs</p> </li><li> <p>Leading or participating in Business Reviews</p> </li><li> <p>Support supplier QMS processes for CAPA/SCAR/DEV/CNs and ASL (Approved Supplier List) accuracy</p> </li><li> <p>Manage risk and ensure business continuity through effective sourcing and supplier management strategies</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders or business owners and suppliers</p> </li><li> <p>Stay current with knowledge of relevant market leaders, market risks, and supplier capabilities within a given commodity or supply base segment</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications and Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement or a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology), or equivalent combination of related education and experience </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or relevant supply chain area </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology or relevant industry </li><li>Strong knowledge of RFx and strategic sourcing practices </li><li>Proficiency in developing and monitoring KPIs </li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills </li><li>Ability to stay current with market trends and supplier capabilities </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications and Competency Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong preference for experience working with CDMO/CMO suppliers </li><li>Previous experience in operations, supply chain, or project management roles </li><li>Experience with Project Management Software such as Smart Sheet or MS Project </li><li>Experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics (D365) or SAP </li></ul>
