We are engineers and technicians, skilled scientists and bold innovators; Join us and put your passion, determination, and skill to work building the future!</p> <p>M&PE is looking for a Material, Process & Physics Composites Engineer(Entry or Associate Level) to provide technology integration support for the manufacturing of various composites structures at the Boeing Commercial Aircraft (BCA) Fabrication Manufacturing Business Unit in Salt Lake City at the West Jordan, Utah facility. You must be able to work in a cross-functional work environment including engineering, quality, production, and program management.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science </li><li>1+ Experience in Composite Materials Development </li><li>1+ Experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing </li><li>1+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>Experience in aerospace manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly of composites structures </li><li>3+ years of experience working thermoset composites manufacturing of aircraft structures </li><li>Experience with manufacturing of composites wing and empennage structures </li><li>Familiarity with aerospace materials and process engineering </li><li>Experience with composite and elastomers and associated processing techniques </li><li>Strong project planning, management, and execution skills. </li><li>Experience in completing requirements-driven materials and process analysis and compiling detailed engineering reports. </li><li>Coordinates across multiple organizations/sites to engage appropriately skilled employees to work on projects. </li><li>Prepares annual department budget and manages it throughout year (headcount and expenditures). Prepares monthly budgetary status reports. </li><li>Works with site Senior Leadership to align projects with factory needs.
