You'll be out in the field, not behind a desk. We are looking for motivated, self-starting individuals to help grow our heating oil and propane customer base.</p> <ul> <li>Generate new residential energy accounts by: </li><li>Targeting new home sales </li><li>Following up on high-quality company leads </li><li>Building referral networks with local community members, businesses and real estate professionals </li><li>Representing the company at community events and trade shows </li><li>Identify and pursue small-to-midsize commercial sales opportunities </li><li>Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them make informed decisions about their heating options </li><li>Manage your own schedule with flexibility and independence </li><li>Track prospects and progress using our CRM system </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service </li></ul> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>We're looking for people who bring ambition and discipline to their work-no experience in energy sales required (we'll train you).</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Self-starter who works well independently and stays on top of daily goals </li><li>Confident communicator who enjoys connecting with people face-to-face </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Results-oriented and motivated to exceed expectations </li><li>Organized and able to manage your time and data effectively </li><li>Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus </li><li>Possess the ability to overcome objections </li><li>Comfortable with tech (CRM systems, mobile apps, email, etc.) </li><li>Have reliable transportation and be able to conduct field sales activity and travel to assigned territory </li><li>Valid Driver's License and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy </li></ul> <p>Why This Role Matters:</p> <p>Heating oil and propane may not be trendy-but they're absolutely essential.
