Commerce Trust is a division of Commerce Bank.</p> <p>About This Job</p> <p>The Private Banking Client Associate provides administrative, operational, and client support for Private Bankers within the Trust Company. The primary goal of a Client Associate is to reduce time spent by the Private Bankers on administrative and operational concerns. You'll prepare client presentations, participate in joint calls with Private Banking Officers, interact directly with clients, resolve operational difficulties, and assist officers in preparation of loan approval packages.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage portfolio of client relationships for 1-3 Private Bankers</p> </li><li> <p>Provide a superior client experience by completing tasks, resolving issues, and following up in a timely manner</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with assigned Private Banker(s) to build a strong channel of communication</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare client presentations and participate in joint calls when necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in processing loans and scheduling closings</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate directly with clients to complete service needs and document conversation in the CRM (Quest)</p> </li><li> <p>Work with the Private Banker(s) to ensure CRM (Quest) records are kept up-to-date</p> </li><li> <p>Identify new clients and sales opportunities through client support and networking</p> </li><li> <p>Support other client associates by communicating effectively and providing coverage</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required</p> <ul> <li> <p>Knowledge of general banking services and products, with emphasis on lending and deposit products</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated customer contact and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet preparation required, familiarity with contact management software and data base management helpful</p> </li><li> <p>Good organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values</p> </li><li> <p>Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</p> </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
