<p>Job Description</p> <p>Custom Software Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Albany, NY): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Custom Software Engineering Manager in Albany, NY, and the job duties are as follows:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications. </li><li>Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components. </li><li>Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications. </li><li>Architect development strategy for applications and components. </li><li>Coordinate development streams in line with overall program(s) timing and milestones. </li><li>Build deployment plan, including the development plan and schedule, keeping in line with overall project timeline. </li><li>Design, build, assemble, and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements. </li><li>Team with stakeholders on application and component design to secure buy in. </li><li>Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. </li></ul> <p>Qualification</p> <p>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.</p> <p>Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinating system integration activities through the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle in the Pension Industry, including B2B integrations with banks' or other financial institutions' systems; </li><li>Gathering requirements, design, configuration, programming, testing, and deployment of Oracle PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, and Pension; </li><li>Utilizing SQL with SQL Server and Oracle to create formal reports or queries to support requirements gathering, configuration, root cause analysis, and testing; </li><li>Managing architectural and design decisions, including improvements for ongoing system performance issues; </li><li>Project management, including creating work plans for teams and tracking issues and risks; and </li><li>Leading system integrations and production maintenance teams. </li></ul> <p>Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.</p> <p>To apply, please click the 'APPLY' button.</p> <p>Pursuant to the New York Transparency Bill, the offered wage for this role is $135,699.00 per year.</p> <p>#LI-DNI</p> <p>#IND-DNI</p> <p>Locations</p>
