<p>Responsible for the day to day operations of the department. Supervise the team of perfusionists in the conduct of extracorporeal support of patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Also functions as a certified perfusionist on a regular rotation schedule with the other perfusionist doing clinical cardiac cases.</p> <p>Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, & concepts normally acquire through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Bio-Medical or closely related field and three to five years of previous work related experience. Certification required as a Certified Clinical Perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ACP) and Perfusionist Licensure by NJ State.
