<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Controller in Saint Charles, MO.</p> <p>Summary: Our client is a well-established manufacturing company seeking a Controller to serve as the senior finance and accounting leader. This is a highly hands-on role ideal for a well-rounded accounting professional who is comfortable managing day-to-day accounting operations while also providing strategic financial oversight. The role may include supervision of one accounting staff member. The client offers a salary and benefits package, insurance plans, PTO, 401(k) plan and other company perks. The position will be functioning as on-site in the Saint Charles, MO area.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Controller will lead all accounting and financial activities in accordance with GAAP </li><li>Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements </li><li>Manage cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing financial controls </li><li>Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning </li><li>Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements </li><li>As a Controller, you will provide financial insight and decision support to ownership </li><li>Drive process improvement, internal controls, and reporting enhancements </li><li>Serve as the financial systems lead* Minimum of 7+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience </li><li>Demonstrated experience with cost accounting and inventory-heavy environments </li><li>Broad, well-rounded accounting background with strong technical knowledge </li><li>Systems-savvy mindset with a continuous improvement orientation </li><li>Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative, and highly accountable environment </li><li>CPA preferred </li><li>Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred </li></ul>
