The Quality Assurance Sanitation Technician maintains water treatment equipment. The Quality Assurance Sanitizer also performs required data entry per record of completion. The QA Sanitizer may also serve as a peer leader for their assigned shift.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs external and internal or Clean in Place (CIP) sanitation on production lines in accordance with the Company Quality Assurance Sanitation Policy </li><li>Ensures proper aseptic techniques are used for microbial sample collections, ensures adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations, and maintains water treatment equipment </li><li>Maintains and ensures cleanliness and organization of the chemical storage, supply, Clean in Place (CIP) skids, and water treatment areas and supports in the proper unloading of bulk chemical deliveries into bulk tanks </li><li>Records all internal (CIP) and external sanitation and chemical concentrations in the Lab Data Management System (LDMS) </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures </li><li>Basic microbial knowledge and aseptic techniques </li><li>Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel experience </li><li>Preferred Experience in manufacturing sanitation preferred </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced Food Manufacturing environment with seasonal temperatures, flexible shifts, and weekend and holiday work based on business needs unless specified otherwise by a CBA </li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk manufacturing floor, climb stairs, and lift up to 25lbs. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Noisy, wet, and extreme temperature environment</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.</p> <p>Nearest Major Market: Charlotte</p>
