<p>osition Overview:</p> <p>The overall responsibility of the Front office Receptionist is to provide excellent customer service while maintaining a smooth workflow to ensure quality patient outcomes. Front desk staff member functions as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home who facilitates a positive and efficient office environment.</p> <p>Front Office Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Greets and welcomes patients and visitors, answers telephones in a courteous and professional manner; address questions, take messages, direct calls appropriately. </li><li>Collects and receives patient fees. </li><li>Keeps patient appointments on schedule by ensuring a timely check in process and notifying appropriate staff via EMR of patient's arrival. </li><li>Informs patients of Sliding Fee Scale and assists patients with filling out forms if needed. </li><li>Accurately document information in EMR. </li><li>Perform opening and closing procedures for the reception and check out desk. </li><li>Optimize patients' satisfaction and provider time by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. </li><li>Provide timely check out process and schedule follow up appointments as needed. </li><li>Provide reminder calls two days prior to scheduled visits. </li></ul> <p>Sandhills Medical Foundation, Inc. does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, status as a parent, national origin, age, disability, family medical history or genetic information, political affiliation, military service, or other non-merit based factors.</p> <p>Job Type: Part-Time</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred) </li><li>Location: McBee, SC </li></ul>
