<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Rush Pediatrics Patient Service Representative proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, and schedules patient appointments. Verifies insurance information and ensures appointments are scheduled properly.</p> <p>40 Hours per Week: Shift times will vary, but will be during the following times: 7:45am-5:30pm (4 days a week), 10:00am-7:15pm (1 day a week), 1 Saturday per month 7:45am-12:15pm</p> <p>This position will work in multiple locations: RUSH Pediatrics & Family Medicine Oswego, RUSH Pediatrics Aurora, & RUSH Pediatrics Aurora Ridge.</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Education and Previous Experience </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. </li><li>Hardware/Software Experience </li><li>Practice management/medical billing computer programs. </li><li>Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) </li><li>Other Characteristics </li><li>Excellent oral/written communication skills </li><li>Excellent organizational skills </li><li>Excellent customer service skills </li><li>Detailed oriented </li><li>Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections) </li><li>Flexible; able to adapt to change </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish) strongly valued </li></ul>
