<p>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Review orders and quotes for accurate sizing information.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure original order accuracy for remakes.</p> </li><li> <p>Create production and vendor drawings using AutoCAD.</p> </li><li> <p>Generate special grille drawings for glass vendors.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop DXF files for glass</p> </li><li> <p>Create templates for manufacturing specific units.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare drawings, dimensions, and PDFs for all production facilities and outside vendors.</p> </li><li> <p>Size units from customer supplied templates</p> </li><li> <p>Calculate specific dimensions for non-current products using formulas.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide dimensions and angles for trap cutters.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze and resolve sizing issues for production staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Problem-solve discrepancies in drawings within quoting software.</p> </li></ul> <p>IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong organizational skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong mathematical skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to work and effectively communicate with production staff and interoffice departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to juggle multiple projects in different stages at any given time.</p> </li><li> <p>Able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of operating CAD systems (AutoCAD preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Teams, etc)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to understand and interpret engineering specifications and other technical information sources.</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION: Associate's degree in CAD or equivalent is preferred.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in window & door industry is a plus.</p>
