The Lead Traffic Coordinator will also ensure that realistic, effective and efficient flights are built according to flight schedule guidelines and F7 procedures while adhering to operational control parameters of flight release.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Duties:</p> <p>Obtains current village weather and runway conditions. Relays information to Company pilots and operations agent in a timely and continual manner.</p> <p>Reviews Company flight release parameters with pilot-in-command (PIC) to ensure parameters are met prior to the pilot contacting the central operations agent.</p> <p>Notifies village agents and customers of flight schedules, ETA's and load onboard.</p> <p>Prepares and completes flight and accounting paperwork for Anchorage Accounting Department.</p> <p>Assists operations agent with flight following, as needed.</p> <p>Continually communicates with the Station Manager and Director of Flight Production and relays required information to Operation Agents.</p> <p>Supervises the Traffic Coordinators.</p> <p>Notifies the Station Manager or Cargo Manager of any operational discrepancies or needs.</p> <p>Assists with employee disciplinary actions.</p> <p>Prepare mail reports and on hand inventories for the local post office.</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Competencies:</p> <p>Able to lead employees in a safe and positive manner.</p> <p>Ability to analyze and solve problems.</p> <p>Ability to take direction and be flexible.</p> <p>Excellent computer and office skills.</p> <p>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</p> <p>Able to work independently as well as part of a team.</p> <p>Graduate of high school or equivalent.</p> <p>Three years of applicable experience preferred.</p> <p>Must be able to pass a ten-year security background check for airport badging.</p> <p>Must have valid driver's license with a good driving record.</p> <p>Must be able routinely lift 70 pounds.</p> <p>Maintains operation agent qualification.</p> <p>Explore transportation and logistics industry job opportunities from Hawaii to Alaska,</p> <p>and Washington State to throughout the Caribbean.
