<p>Job Description</p> <p>With high-level goals provided, performs high complexity calculations, modeling, data analysis, on site evaluations and/or other evaluations for water resources projects in alignment with client work plans (Ex: collection systems; hydrology and hydraulics; CSOs; dams; drainage; economics and planning; climate change adaptation; coastal analysis and engineering; ecosystem restoration; flood management; green infrastructure; groundwater; hydroelectric power; integrated resource planning; irrigation; open channels; outfalls; planning; pressure conduits; probability and risk analysis; reservoirs; sedimentation; spillways, gates, and outlet works; stream, rivers and wetlands; stormwater management; urban watersheds; water law and regulations; watershed management; water supply planning and systems; and water quality, etc.).</p> <p>Contributes to advancing technical innovations, tools, and applications that enhance project delivery, client satisfaction, and discipline growth.</p> <p>Supports research and development projects, including SWMM maintenance, enhancement, and staff training priorities.</p> <p>Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff.</p> <p>Reviews the work of more junior staff.</p> <p>Attends conferences, symposia, etc. to improve the visibility of the firm's products and services in collaboration with clients and/or sales staff.</p> <p>Contributes to firm's TKM by developing white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc.</p> <p>Submits technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals.</p> <p>Meets with current and potential future clients to understand their current and future needs and propose innovative solutions.</p> <p>Collaborates with sales and marketing staff to create proposals in response to current and potential client requests for proposal (RFPs).</p> <p>Reviews draft proposals for opportunities to offer high value technological innovations and differentiators.</p> <p>Performs other duties as required.</p> <p>Employment Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline with professional scientist registration/certification OR Master's degree in Science or related discipline.</p> <p>12 years of related experience.</p> <p>Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.</p> <p>Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.</p>
