<p>City/State</p> <p>Suffolk, VA</p> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>First (Days)</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA, is currently hiring a Mammography Technologist for a Part Time, Day Shift.</p> <p>15K Sign On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates!</p> <p>Hours</p> <ul> <li> <p>Three (3) Saturdays per month: 7am - 3:30pm</p> </li><li> <p>One (1) additional weekday shift, scheduled based on operational needs</p> </li><li> <p>Primary work location is Sentara Obici Hospital; flexibility to float to other assigned locations as needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>Perform and analyze all screening/diagnostic mammography procedures and/or bone densitometry. Perform all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies. Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.</p> <p>Conducts general screening and diagnostic Mammography and /or Bone Densitometry imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory.
