This position handles front desk for a physician practice to include, answering phones, assisting patients, scheduling appointments, check-in and check-out, etc. Other key duties are enters/verifies insurance information, collects/posts monies due, manages correspondence for nurses and providers, and scans patient info into EMR (electronic medical records).</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have healthcare office experience. They will have excellent customer service skills, and Insurance knowledge, and know medical terminology. It is important to be computer-literate and demonstrate professional phone skills.
