<p>Our Actuarial team is seeking exceptional college students for our Summer Internship Program, which provides meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, as well as rewarding career path options.</p> <p>IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:</p> <ul> <li>Perform tasks of a mathematical and quantitative nature using established procedures </li><li>Learn fundamental actuarial concepts, practices and procedures </li><li>Become familiar with company operations, systems and actuarial methodologies </li><li>Utilize actuarial tools and modeling software for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management </li><li>Analyze industry trends to identify impact on financials, reserves, and pricing processes </li><li>Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:</p> <ul> <li>Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred </li><li>Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program </li><li>Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future </li><li>0-2 years of professional working experience </li><li>Understands fundamental analytical concepts, practices and procedures </li><li>Strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making skills </li><li>A high degree of self-motivation and demonstrates high attention to detail </li><li>Intellectual curiosity and creativity </li><li>MS Office, Excel and SQL </li><li>Bonus points for R, Python and Power BI </li></ul>
