We are a member of the nationwide Trinity Health family, bringing compassionate care to our communities.</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Provide scrub duties during surgical interventions under the direction and supervision of the physician and the registered nurse.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Participates in and enhances the surgical care provided by the surgical team during the pre-operative phase of patient assessments through teamwork.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists intra-operatively with technical skills and post-operatively across the department to provide positive patient outcomes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology</p> </li><li> <p>Licensure: Surgical Technician Certification through from NBSTSA. Massachusetts Department of Public Health standards introduced by statute in 2013 require surgical technologists hired after July 1, 2013 to maintain a certified surgical technologist credential. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
