<p>AS A MATERIAL HANDLER, YOU WILL:</p> <ul> <li>Load and/or unload trucks </li><li>Put away incoming freight </li><li>Replenish orders as necessary to support operation </li><li>Supply cardboard boxes and bags for departments </li><li>Transport finished goods to be shipped </li><li>Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment </li><li>Maintain safe actions on and off equipment in compliance with all safety rules/regulations required by Emerson, federal, state, and local provisions </li><li>Meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements </li><li>Assist and train new hires </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:</p> <ul> <li>Should be hard-working and capable of working independently </li><li>Must have successfully completed and passed Emerson's training on all required equipment which included but is not limited to; forklift, cherry picker, and tri-loader </li><li>Must be comfortable working at heights of 20 feet wearing fall protection gear </li><li>Must follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures. </li><li>Lift max of 35 lbs; tools available to assist with lifting and moving heavier items </li><li>Able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day </li><li>Ability to use the Hand (RF) scanner effectively and efficiently </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:</p> <ul> <li>JDE knowledge </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent experience </li></ul> <p>Our Culture & Commitment to You</p> <p>At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
