Situated on Boston's historic waterfront, the hotel features 424 stunning guest rooms, vibrant global cuisine, 32,000 square feet of elegant meeting space, and an unwavering commitment to personalized service.</p> <p>Kimpton Marlowe Hotel in Cambridge complements this legacy with its boutique charm and bold, artful spirit-bringing together loyal locals and worldly travelers at its signature restaurant, Bambara, and sleek Lobby Bar.</p> <p>Together, these properties offer a dynamic canvas for an innovative beverage leader ready to shape unforgettable experiences.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>As the Dual-Property Beverage Director, you will oversee all beverage operations at InterContinental Boston-including Fellini, The Loyal Counting Room, 510 Waterfront, and Banquets-and at Kimpton Marlowe including Bambara and the Lobby Bar. You will lead with vision and precision, curating menus, managing costs, elevating training, and crafting sophisticated moments that reflect the spirit of each brand.</p> <p>This position reports jointly to the Director of Food & Beverage at InterContinental Boston and the General Manager at Kimpton Marlowe.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <p>Strategic Leadership & Program Innovation</p> <p>Design and launch seasonal beverage programs aligned with brand identity and guest preferences</p> <p>Monitor product trends, individual item performance, and guest feedback to inform offerings</p> <p>Oversee pricing strategy and supplier negotiations to maintain optimal beverage costs</p> <p>Ensure Core Beverage compliance and excellence across all outlets</p> <p>Operational Excellence</p> <p>Lead day-to-day operations across five food & beverage venues and both banqueting departments</p> <p>Recruit, train, and schedule top-performing bar teams across both properties</p> <p>Implement inventory controls, cost reduction strategies, and efficiency improvements</p> <p>Maintain an elevated and consistent guest experience at all service touchpoints</p> <p>Team Development & Communication</p> <p>Host weekly meetings to align departments and share operational updates</p> <p>Provide training to F&B and Sales teams on product knowledge and presentation</p> <p>Ensure feedback loops are in place to drive continuous improvement</p> <p>Partnerships & Vendor Management</p> <p>Build strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and local partners</p> <p>Curate unique spirits, beer, and wine lists aligned with venue positioning</p> <p>Support PR initiatives through product innovations and media-worthy offerings</p> <p>Guest Experience & Brand Representation</p> <p>Maintain visibility on the floor and presence at signature events</p> <p>Personally engage with VIP guests and event planners when appropriate</p> <p>Lead the beverage vision with elegance, storytelling, and passion for hospitality</p> <p>Ideal Candidate Profile</p> <p>Required Skills & Experience</p> <p>Minimum 3 years of progressive beverage leadership in a luxury hospitality environment</p> <p>Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management</p> <p>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills</p> <p>Proven ability to lead and inspire high-performing, cross-property teams</p> <p>Up-to-date knowledge of global beverage trends, premium spirits, and luxury guest preferences</p> <p>Schedule Requirements</p> <p>Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation across two hotels, including nights, weekends, and holidays</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>At InterContinental Boston and Kimpton Marlowe, we believe that empowered people drive our success.
