<p>Kforce's client, a well respected public accounting firm, seeks a Tax Manager to join its extended family environment in Somers, NY. In this position, you will assist with client relations, provide day-to-day accounting support to a portfolio of clients, and supervise "value added" non audit related engagements, prepare tax filings as well as research and planning activities. Public accounting experience and a CPA certification are required.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Implementing and overseeing the tax plan </li><li>Performing managerial functions in the office </li><li>Prepare the required government documents concerning taxes </li><li>Ensure the accuracy of all documents </li><li>Offering solutions to pressing tax problems </li><li>Working with a diverse group of people to further the goals of the company </li><li>Accurately and efficiently managing tax reporting and planning and ensure compliance of tax laws for the company or client* CPA </li><li>5+ years of public tax accounting experience </li><li>Expertise with international, domestic, state, and local tax compliance </li></ul>
