<p>Position: Data & Systems Analyst</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>Scope</p> <p>The Data & Systems Analyst compiles, analyzes, and transforms complex data into actionable intelligence, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable information across all schools and departments.</p> <p>This role executes critical daily data workflows, automates business processes, and resolves issues promptly. The position works closely with Admissions, the Business Office, Development, Academic Leadership, and Technology Services to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across all platforms, while promoting Technology Services and the Christian Academy School System.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:</p> <ul> <li>A strong and clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit </li><li>A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school </li><li>A commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Christian Academy School System Statement of Faith </li><li>Agreement and belief that the Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will possess:</p> <ul> <li>One or more years of relevant work experience (or equivalent) </li><li>Experience working with data systems, databases, or student information systems </li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to manage recurring operational tasks reliably and accurately </li><li>Ability to present information in clear, concise, user-friendly formats </li><li>Strong communication and customer-service skills </li><li>Ability to find an answer when it is not immediately obvious </li></ul> <p>Accountabilities / Responsibilities</p> <p>Data Operations & System Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage daily data workflows, including enrollment, withdrawals, student status updates, and class list maintenance </li><li>Maintain and administer the student information system (FACTS), including user accounts, security groups, and configurations </li><li>Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of student, staff, and family data across systems </li><li>Perform regular audits and validations to identify and correct data discrepancies </li></ul> <p>Admissions & Enrollment Support</p> <ul> <li>Support admissions processes, including application tracking, enrollment processing, and communications </li><li>Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly admissions and reenrollment reports </li><li>Build and maintain web forms supporting applications, registration, and school programs </li><li>Coordinate data needs for open houses, testing events, and enrollment campaigns </li></ul> <p>Reporting & Analytics</p> <ul> <li>Translate complex data into clear reports, dashboards, and visualization. </li><li>Identify trends and patterns to support decision-making and strategic planning </li><li>Maintain standardized reporting processes to ensure consistency and reliability </li></ul> <p>Data Integrations & External Systems</p> <ul> <li>Manage data integrations with external platforms (e.g., Naviance, ParentPulse, Rave) </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate data submissions for compliance and reporting requirements </li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot automated processes supporting schools and departments </li><li>Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve integration issues </li></ul> <p>Calendar-Driven Deliverables</p> <ul> <li>Execute time-sensitive processes aligned with the academic and admissions calendar </li><li>Support annual cycles, including re-enrollment and start- and end-of-year processes </li><li>Ensure all required reports and data submissions are completed accurately and on schedule </li></ul> <p>Data-Driven Communication</p> <ul> <li>Generate communications tied to data events (e.g., enrollment updates, reports) </li><li>Partner with others to ensure accurate and timely communication with stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Support & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Provide support for data-related requests and system issues </li><li>Manage customer expectations throughout the lifecycle of requests and incidents </li><li>Follow escalation procedures and assist with root-cause analysis when issues arise </li><li>Engage vendors or external partners as appropriate to resolve system issues </li><li>Assist with documentation and continuous improvement of processes and procedures </li></ul> <p>Specific Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position </li><li>Ability to (independently) manage multiple recurring and deadline-driven tasks </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including summers and occasional evenings/weekends </li><li>Ability and willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (about 1-2 weeks per month) </li><li>Ability to travel as needed between campus locations </li></ul> <p>Outcomes</p> <ul> <li>Accurate and timely execution of admissions and enrollment workflows </li><li>Reliable, current, and consistent data across all systems and departments </li><li>Timely completion of all calendar-driven reporting and compliance requirements </li><li>Effective integration and synchronization of data between internal and external systems </li><li>Clear, actionable reporting that supports decision-making and communication </li><li>Continuous improvement of data processes, systems, and services </li><li>Positive collaboration resulting in efficient and effective operations </li></ul> <p>Reporting Relationship</p> <p>The Data and Systems Analyst reports to the Director of Security and
