<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Maintenance Supervisor - 3rd Shift (Hours: 9pm-5:30am) will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within our food manufacturing plant. This role requires a strong leader with excellent technical skills, the ability to manage a team, and a commitment to ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency.</p> <p>Core Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on production equipment and machinery. </li><li>Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production processes. </li><li>Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. </li><li>Train and develop maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history and spare parts inventory. </li><li>Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure work environment. </li><li>Collaborate with the procurement department to source and purchase necessary spare parts and supplies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of Maintenance Lead/Supervisor experience required </li><li>At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Experience working with vendors-setting up and managing in plant </li><li>Depth of knowledge in electrical and mechanical </li><li>CMMS experience preferred </li><li>SAP experience or other large ERP experience preferred </li><li>Project management skillset is a benefit </li><li>Strong personal safety experience </li><li>Strong technical skills and knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery </li><li>Excellent leadership and team management abilities </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Food manufacturing experience is a big plus, but not required </li></ul> <p>#LI-JS1 #LI-Onsite</p> <p>Maker's Pride is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p> <p>Other details</p> <ul> <li>Job Family Supervisor </li><li>Pay Type Salary </li><li>Travel Required No </li></ul> <p>Apply Now</p> <ul> <li>Michigan City, 502 West Highway 20, Michigan City, Indiana, United States of America </li></ul>
