<p>The ideal Thompson team member is passionate about creating personalized and unforgettable experiences. This role reflects the spirit of luxury lifestyle hospitality-spontaneous, genuine, and service-focused. The Sales & Events Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Sales, Events, and Marketing team through a variety of administrative, operational, and client-facing tasks. Responsibilities include lead management, business development support, presentation preparation, customer follow-up, VIP recognition and reservations, as well as exposure to marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career and gain hands-on exposure to the world of sales, marketing, and events within the hospitality industry.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate client needs and support the execution of client events and site inspections. </li><li>Maintain organized files, communication systems, and internal correspondence across departments. </li><li>Manage and prepare sales kits, amenity deliveries, welcome letters, and key packets for site inspections and VIP guests. </li><li>Assist in the preparation and tracking of leads, proposals, contracts, and ensure timely and accurate logging in the sales system. </li><li>Coordinate VIP guest reservations, amenities, billing, and internal traces for recognition. </li><li>Handle and respond to incoming sales inquiries; complete conference inquiry forms and ensure appropriate follow-up by the sales team. </li><li>Support sales leaders in reporting, data entry, and various administrative tasks and projects. </li><li>Conduct daily checks of VIP and site inspection rooms to ensure brand and presentation standards are met. </li><li>Assist in planning and executing internal and small-scale client events, including colleague engagement initiatives and property-driven activations. </li><li>Assist in marketing tasks and initiatives as directed by Director of Sales and Marketing </li><li>Provide sales exposure by supporting a small market segment, including handling incoming leads, contracting, conducting follow-up, and contributing to revenue generation goals. </li><li>Participate in miscellaneous projects supporting sales, events, and marketing teams. </li><li>All other duties as assigned by leadership </li><li>A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable guest and client experiences </li><li>Possess excellent organizational and time management skills </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Eager to learn and grow within sales, events and marketing </li><li>Prior experience in a hotel, hospitality, or events/sales support role preferred </li></ul>
