We combine a multi-venue contemporary art museum, boutique hotel and a chef driven restaurant to create a unique and welcoming opportunity.</p> <p>Come join our Flock!</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Reports To: Chief Engineer</p> <p>Supervises: None</p> <p>General Purpose:</p> <ul> <li>Performs maintenance and repairs in specialized areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC. </li><li>Cleans and maintains all equipment and work areas. </li><li>Documents all parts used and parts needed to be purchased. </li><li>Reports any unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer. </li></ul> <p>Specific Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Checks with Front Desk to make sure all guest issues have been resolved. </li><li>Checks HVAC loop temperatures are at normal operating temperatures. </li><li>Checks domestic hot water temperatures. </li><li>Walks building daily looking for lights out and any obvious breakdowns, blemishes or other problems. </li><li>Follows up on Housekeeping calls for maintenance issues. </li><li>Fixes all broken furniture as assigned. </li><li>Ensures that all work orders are completed. </li><li>Checks with Chief Engineer to make sure inventory is up to par </li><li>Changes air and water filters throughout building </li><li>Conducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas. </li><li>Assists valet in resolving guest auto issues such as jump starts and flat tires. </li><li>Assists Guests with internet connectivity issues. </li><li>Assists other departments within the property as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must have basic knowledge of building mechanical systems and controls, energy management and building maintenance skills. </li><li>Minimal comprehension and literacy required to read instructions, repair manuals </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>21c Museum Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
