<p>A Material coordinator will manage, control and monitor the purchase procurement of consumable supplies and special purchases necessary for manufacturing and distribution center operations.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee fulfillment center consumable supplies for the facility. </li><li>Manage policies that effectively meet customer demand, and financial commitments to coordinate the scheduling of production and materials. </li><li>Understand, comply with, and implement the policies of Quality, Safety, Health and Environment and those that apply to the Company. </li><li>Interface with leadership, finance and supervisors on material status and production planning issues. </li><li>Manage inventory and develop strategies to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining established inventory levels to support business objectives. </li><li>Monitor production capacities and inventory levels daily and communicate throughout the organization as required to ensure sufficient capacities and levels are available to manufacture scheduled product. </li><li>Monitors the operational processes and procedures of materials. </li><li>When applicable, generate ideas to increase the productive capacity of the working groups by initiating new ideas, processes & systems. </li><li>Ensure material receiving systems and processes verify quality and commercial specifications and agreements. </li><li>Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records. </li><li>Produce appropriate procurement reports showing inventory levels, shortages and work to continuously improve procurement metrics. </li><li>Schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. </li><li>Hourly position </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Able to lift up to 30lbs and work in warehouse environment. </li><li>Ability to work with Microsoft Suites - specially Excel </li><li>2 years of administrative experience </li><li>Strong customer service skills </li></ul>
