You will combines strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assists with reconciliation of journal entries and balance sheet accounts, supporting month-end and year-end close processes. </li><li>Integrates transactional data from diverse booking sources into the company's back-office accounting system, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy. </li><li>Reconciles and resolves transactional processing issues, maintaining data integrity and supporting business operations. </li><li>Partners cross-functionally with Product teams, IT, Operations, and Finance teams to implement new programs and products. </li><li>Leads quality assurance (QA) and testing efforts for new program and product rollouts. </li><li>Champions process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting tasks. </li><li>Prepares deliverables for external reporting and audit requirements, ensuring compliance and timeliness. </li><li>Manages recurring reporting responsibilities, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports. </li><li>Conducts in-depth analysis of key issues impacting data, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions. </li><li>Strengthens internal controls and streamline processes, leveraging automation where possible. </li><li>Performs variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial results and deliver actionable insights to management. </li><li>Contributes to special projects and support other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from multiple data sources into cohesive presentations and recommendations. </li><li>Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or related field. </li><li>Minimum of 3-10 years of accounting experience. </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Alteryx; experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets and communicate findings clearly. </li><li>Self-motivated and proactive, with excellent time management and prioritization abilities. </li><li>Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. </li><li>Detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. </li><li>Exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. </li><li>Excellent organizational and project management skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in travel industry accounting. </li></ul>
