Find your future with us.</p> <p>Boeing South Carolina has an exciting opening for a Structural Analysis Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join our Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) organization in North Charleston, SC. This position is with the Liaison Stress team supporting production of 787 aircraft.</p> <p>Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Level Structural Analysis Engineers.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Evaluates strength of structural non-conformances and repairs.</p> </li><li> <p>Applies knowledge of structural analysis principles to assess and resolve product/process issues discovered throughout the product lifecycle.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzes MRB dispositions for structural integrity and identify, document and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides alternate repair recommendations as necessary to Liaison Engineering to meet structural requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates with regulatory agencies and representatives to support certification of airplane structural components.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Willing to manage multiple assignments and work with a sense of urgency.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizes LEAN best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactive collaboration with customer, build positive relationships. (i.e. Liaison Engineering and Operations teams).</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication with lead engineers, team members, and management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Authorization:</p> <p>This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (North Charleston, South Carolina).</p> <p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering).</p> </li><li> <p>1+ years of experience working with aircraft stress analysis and/or structural analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in Model Based Definition, CATIA, ENOVIA and PDM.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with composite structures and stress analysis.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p> <ul> <li> <p>3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years of aircraft structures experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Boeing tools such as IAS, CSW, and Structures Workstation (SWS).</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lead and work independently in a team environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to make decisions and deliver results.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to support regular and emergent domestic and international travel (willing to travel up to 10% of the time).</p> </li></ul> <p>Drug Free Workplace:</p> <p>Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.</p> <p>Pay & Benefits:</p> <p>At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
