Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Obtain approvals and payments on site</p> </li><li> <p>Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for the pre-registration process of patient admissions</p> </li><li> <p>Explain insurance and private pay liabilities; appropriately refer patients requiring financial counseling</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately enter/update all patient demographic information, including insurance and patient liability; post payments to appropriate screen and complete reconciliation reports</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum High School diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances</p> </li><li> <p>Patient access hospital experience strongly preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights and Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Full time 40hr 7a-3:30p including every other weekend -- weekend and holiday differentials apply! </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information</p> <p>Saint Francis Hospital is committed to exceeding the expectations of our patients and families by providing world-class service in a progressive, people-centered, compassionate health care environment.
