The expected duration of the selection process is estimated to be a minimum of three (3) months to a maximum of two and one half (2 ½) years. Initial testing requires successful completion of a written and oral examination. You will receive an email invite to sign up for the written test within 24 hours of submission of your Bristol employment application.</p> <p>VETERANS PREFERENCE: Deadline to submit copy of Form DD-214 Member-4 is either online with application submission, or in person at the written exam test by May 7, 2026. Failure to provide adequate paperwork by the written test date will forfeit your eligibility to receive veteran's points. 5 points will be added to a final passing score (maximum score = 100 points) for veterans who have completed a minimum of 90 days of active military service, in a non-training status, with an honorable discharge or a discharge under honorable conditions.</p> <p>ORAL EXAMINATION: Upon passing the written exam you will be invited to the oral exam phase. You will receive an email invite (on or about May 13, 2026) to schedule your oral exam appointment.
