<p>Overview</p> <p>Bowhead seeks Personnel Security Specialists to support our customer on the TSA Personnel Security Adjudication (PERSEC) Services contract.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Receives completed fitness pre-appointment packages and makes a risk based assessment/recommendation for a pre-appointment determination in accordance with the following references used by TSA, but not limited to: the Aviation and Transportation Security Act (ATSA), Lautenburg Act (applicable to firearms handlers), DHS Instruction 121-01-007-01, Fitness guidance, Security Executive Agent Directive (SEAD) as well as guidance provided by Suitability Executive Agent (SuitEA) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).• Receives completed investigations and inquiries from Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), 2nd party Investigative Service Provider (ISP) and Continuous Evaluation (CE) dispositions and makes recommendations for determination of fitness and access to national security information in accordance with but not limited to the ATSA, Lautenburg Act (applicable to firearms handlers), DHS Instruction 121-01-007-01, Fitness guidance's, SEAD as well as guidance provided by Suitability Executive Agent (SuitEA) and Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). • Apply proper grammatical context when preparing administrative letters of action (i.e., Letters of Interrogatory). • Apply safeguards towards the securing of PII and classified investigative content to the Top Secret Level (all classified investigative content will be reviewed at TSA). • Pull Lexis Nexis Credit Reports. • Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.• Extensive working understanding of the Adjudication process. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds </li><li>Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time </li><li>Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically </li></ul> <p>SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently have an active Top Secret clearance.</p> <p>#LI-MN1</p>
