<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>Butler, Fairman, and Seufert is looking for a Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued over the phone or while on our premises.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Position reports to Administrative Manager </li><li>Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm </li><li>Answer and screen all incoming calls and direct to staff member or answer any questions </li><li>Welcomes guests and visitors and contacts appropriate associate to accompany them </li><li>Receive and sort daily mail and deliveries and distribute them </li><li>Use postage meter and UPS computer and occasionally take packages to USPS or UPS </li><li>Assist with compiling mailings as needed, including utilizing certified mail procedures </li><li>Oversee conference and huddle rooms cleanliness </li><li>Send project documents to outside firms when requested </li><li>Assist Accounting with mailing invoices and other tasks as needed </li><li>Count and roll loose change from soda purchases </li><li>Assist associates and Owners with tasks as assigned by Administrative Manager </li><li>Exhibit company values of honesty, professionalism, consideration, dedication, and accountability at all times </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and OTHER REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Proven experience as front desk representative, one to two years minimum related experience required. </li><li>Familiarity with office machines (e.g., fax, printer etc.). </li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word). </li><li>Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities. </li><li>Problem-solving skills. </li><li>Strong communication and Customer service orientation. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this position, the employee is typically indoors and usually sitting for long periods of time. Reasonable accommodations can be made for temporary needs due to illness or injury. </li></ul>
