<p>This role is responsible for overseeing all direct production activities and managing cross-functional operations during off-shift hours, including engineering, quality, material handling, and logistics. This hands-on leadership position is accountable for all aspects of the Device Care Center Repair Operations, encompassing both invasive and non-invasive repair methods. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, working effectively with leaders across shifts, departments, and sites. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring smooth and efficient operations by partnering with supervisors to align with customer priorities and demand schedules Assigning and coordinating tasks and projects Managing workflow and overseeing task completion Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) Driving labor efficiency and managing headcount within the area of responsibility Mentoring and coaching frontline leaders Candidates must possess strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of quality, inventory, and warehousing processes within a repair or manufacturing environment.</p> <p>This is an onsite position based at our Mt. Juliet, TN facility.</p> <p>What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?</p> <ul> <li>Oversee end-to-end repair operations, including invasive and non-invasive services, ensuring alignment with production schedules, quality standards, and customer expectations </li><li>Coordinate with departmental managers to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of repair and manufacturing objectives from planning through shipping </li><li>Manage multiple departments to address operational needs and ensure consistency </li><li>Lead, develop, and support a team of Production Supervisors and Repair Technicians across shifts </li><li>Hire, train, evaluate, and, when necessary, discipline staff, delegating responsibilities appropriately to supervisory personnel </li><li>Establish performance standards, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to drive accountability and engagement </li><li>Foster a positive work environment that promotes safety, morale, and professional growth </li><li>Collaborate with engineering to develop and enhance repair capabilities and support new product introductions </li><li>Implement and monitor quality assurance programs using Lean Six Sigma principles </li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflow, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery </li><li>Develop and maintain effective organizational structures, staffing levels, and communication systems </li><li>Partner with senior leadership to define and achieve departmental and company goals </li><li>Work closely with materials, logistics, and engineering teams to manage inventory, parts availability, and capital equipment needs </li><li>Serve as a liaison between shifts, departments, and external partners to ensure seamless operations and alignment </li><li>Manage departmental budgets and control operational expenses </li><li>Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools such as Power BI </li><li>Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and production standards </li><li>Identify and address areas of opportunity through data-driven decision-making </li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment </li><li>Participate in safety, fire prevention, and disaster recovery programs, contributing to the development of site-specific plans </li></ul> <p>What are the requirements needed for this position?</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in relevant industry field </li><li>8 years in a supervisory/management role in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Proven track record in managing hourly workforces and leading teams through coaching, performance management, and development </li><li>Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies with a demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with label printers, barcode scanners, and wireless mobile device processing </li><li>Strong analytical, mathematical, and decision-making skills with a practical application of technical knowledge in a production environment </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with external partners </li><li>Demonstrated business acumen, innovative thinking, and problem-solving capabilities </li></ul> <p>What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in relevant industry field </li><li>10 years of experience in production management or supervisory roles within a manufacturing or repair environment </li><li>Experience working in ISO 9001 or R2-certified operations </li><li>Strong background in lean manufacturing principles applied in a production setting </li><li>Prior experience in wireless device repair or OEM manufacturing is highly preferred </li><li>Solid understanding of wireless production and OEM manufacturing processes </li><li>Familiarity with basic electronics equipment and tools </li></ul> <p>Pay Range:</p> <p>$86,000.00 - $143,700.00</p> <p>Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.</p> <p>Expected application deadline is</p> <p>08/11/2025</p> <p>If date is blank then this is a pipeline requisition, and we will continue to collect applications on an ongoing basis.</p> <p>Helping People Thrive in a Connected World</p> <p>Connect with us.
