<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Onondaga Community College invites applications for potential Nursing part-time temporary/hourly positions in an ACEN accredited Associate Degree Nursing program. Help us grow the Nursing Leaders of tomorrow!</p> <p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Procedure evaluator </li><li>Evaluate students in skills testing. </li><li>Review teaching points, strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. </li><li>Assists with equipment and lab maintenance, safety, and cleanliness. </li><li>Communicate effectively with the lab coordinator to learn and understand all curriculum policies and rules for testing in the lab. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>An earned master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university or foreign equivalency; </li><li>Current NYS RN registration and CPR certification. </li><li>Three (3) years current acute care experience in the field. </li><li>Must be able to assist students with bedside nursing care and have broad experience with current and evolving health technology. </li><li>Advanced computer skills are also required. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a part-time hourly position. Rate of pay is $ 63.54/hour.
