<p>Inspector</p> <p>Location: Mountainhome, PA</p> <p>Job ID: #72333</p> <p>Pay Range: $29-34</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <p>Use various measurement tools (ex. micrometers, calipers, Optical Comparator, dial indicators, etc.) and other equipment to verify product dimensions with precision and validate quality compliance against appropriate specifications.</p> <p>Perform inspection against blueprint and/or job instruction sheets to validate compliance of as-received, in-process, and completed/final components and assemblies.</p> <p>Perform first article inspection in accordance with AS9102</p> <p>Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of gages and inspection equipment</p> <p>Document inspection results and maintain detailed records</p> <p>Identify and report defects, deviations, variances and non-conformities in the appropriate system(s)</p> <p>Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues</p> <p>Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes</p> <p>Perform simple mathematical computations to determine pass/fail results based on allowed tolerance.</p> <p>Perform administrative tasks associated with file management and material control</p> <p>Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality</p> <p>Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously</p> <p>Qualifications You Must Have:</p> <p>Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience OR BA/BS degree in a related field of study with a minimum of 3 years of experience.</p> <p>U.S. Person</p> <p>Ability to pass visual acuity and color vision tests</p> <p>Proficiency with blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation</p> <p>Proficiency with precision measuring equipment</p> <p>Basic Computer skills</p> <p>Basic Shop Math</p> <p>Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law</p> <p>Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
