<p>Job#: 3029530</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Senior Project Manager - Digital & Salesforce Initiatives</p> <p>Job Title: Senior Project Manager (PM II / PM2)</p> <p>Location: Remote</p> <p>Employment Type: Long Term Contract</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead two parallel, high-visibility strategic initiatives within a technology-enabled organization. This role will balance ownership of an in-flight customer-facing digital portal and a Salesforce sales process optimization initiative currently in early planning. The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, financial oversight, stakeholder communication, and risk management across both efforts. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to partner effectively with Product Owners, technical teams, and senior business stakeholders.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Project Delivery & Execution</p> <ul> <li>Lead two concurrent initiatives with a 50/50 split: </li></ul> <p>o A customer-facing digital portal already in active development</p> <p>o A Salesforce sales process optimization project in initiation and planning</p> <ul> <li>Develop, baseline, and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and delivery milestones </li><li>Drive projects through execution to targeted completion by September 30, communicating risks or adjustments transparently </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder & Team Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of accountability across business, product, and technology teams </li><li>Partner closely with strong Product Owners and in-house development teams </li><li>Lead governance cadence including stand-ups, touchpoints, and executive-level status reporting </li><li>Communicate clearly and concisely with business stakeholders, focusing on outcomes and business impact rather than technical detail </li></ul> <p>Financial & Risk Management</p> <ul> <li>Own project financials end-to-end, including budgets funded by the business </li><li>Coordinate regularly with IT Finance and Business Finance partners </li><li>Proactively identify, manage, and resolve project risks through closure or formal acceptance </li><li>Adapt quickly to scope changes and evolving priorities </li></ul> <p>Delivery Environment & Tools</p> <ul> <li>Use Smartsheet as the primary project management tool </li><li>Leverage Jira and Clarity for tracking and reporting </li><li>Operate within a hybrid delivery model (not fully Agile) </li><li>Manage work completed fully in-house (no external implementation partners) </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Approximately 7+ years of project management experience </li><li>Proven success managing complex, multi-workstream initiatives </li><li>Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecasts </li><li>Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills </li><li>Demonstrated strength in risk management, beyond simple identification </li><li>Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with changing scope and priorities </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have</p> <ul> <li>Experience leading Salesforce-related initiatives </li><li>Experience with customer-facing digital platforms or enterprise systems </li><li>PMP or equivalent certification (preferred, not required) </li></ul> <p>Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
