<p>Position Overview</p> <p>This role is responsible for designing and developing custom machinery from initial concept through final production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable equipment that supports efficient manufacturing operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Design mechanical systems and components using CAD software</p> </li><li> <p>Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and simulations to validate designs and ensure performance standards are met</p> </li><li> <p>Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with suppliers and vendors to source components and support system integration</p> </li><li> <p>Specify and select mechanical elements such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, and shafts based on application requirements</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on experience in machinery or equipment design</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with CAD platforms such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD</p> </li><li> <p>Strong foundation in mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of welding methods and fabrication practices</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Health, dental, and vision, life, short/long term disability insurance</p> </li><li> <p>401(k) offering</p> </li><li> <p>Paid time off and holidays (80 hours PTO)</p> </li><li> <p>Paid sick leave where applicable by state law.</p> </li></ul> <p>LHH is a leader in permanent recruitment-and in the placement of top talent.
