<p>GENERAL SUMMARY:</p> <ul> <li>Western International High School - 1500 Scotten St, Detroit, MI 48209 </li><li>Henry Ford Health System's School-Based and Community Health Program provides primary care and behavioral health services to children ages 5-21 regardless of health insurance coverage or ability to pay. </li><li>Our clinics are located within more than a dozen schools in Detroit, Lincoln Park, and Macomb County, one community location, as well as a mobile medical unit that travels to various locations. </li><li>Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. </li><li>Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. </li><li>Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. </li><li>RN will be responsible for assisting other RNs with care navigation across Network Project sites (Western High, Earhart Elementary, Maybury Elementary, and Munger Elementary) </li><li>More information about the Network Project is available here - MDHHS - CAHC Network School Model Demonstration Project (michigan.gov) </li><li>Cross coverage required at other schools nearby if needed. </li></ul> <p>Hours: 8AM-4:30</p> <p>Location: Western International High School - 1500 Scotten St, Detroit, MI 48209</p> <p>Benefits: Full-Time</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor Degree preferred. </li><li>Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test. </li><li>Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN). </li><li>Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty. </li><li>Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. </li><li>Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel. </li><li>Preferred experience in the specialty. </li><li>Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. </li><li>3+ years as a RN required </li><li>*Cross coverage required at other schools nearby if needed. </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
