TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p> <ul> <li>Level II Trauma Center </li><li>Primary Stroke Center </li><li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li><li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li><li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li></ul> <p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices.</p> <p>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</p> <p>Location:Tallahassee, FL</p> <p>The Compensation and Benefits Director is responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and oversight of all compensation and benefits activities and initiatives. </li><li>Develops strategies to integrate compensation, benefits, and other rewards of work in support of the mission and strategic goals of TMH. </li><li>Manages all departmental budgetary responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with expectations and desired outcomes, as established by his/her immediate superior and the office of the CFO. Includes meeting budget, demonstrating cost savings and generating projected revenues. </li><li>Administers the compensation program(s) at TMH </li><li>Conducts position and market analyses. </li><li>Administers TMH benefit programs </li><li>Interfaces with the HRIS System </li><li>Assess trends, projects budgets, prepares internal reports, and administers surveys </li><li>Collaborates with Finance to develop the TMH compensation (salary and benefits) budgets and prepares salary and benefits budget recommendations for annual budget. </li><li>Understands the business objectives, constraints and strategies of TMH and develops compensation & benefits strategies considering associates at all levels of the organization. </li></ul> <p>Reports To:</p> <ul> <li>VP/Chief Human Resources </li></ul> <p>Supervises:</p> <ul> <li>HR Benefits Analyst </li><li>HR Compensation Analyst </li><li>HR Benefits Representative </li><li>HR Compensation and Retirement Assistant </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY</p> <p>Required Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (Human Resources/Business or related field preferred) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Five years directly related experience in compensation and benefits administration. </li><li>Requires a broad-based background in developing, implementing and directing competitive compensation and benefit plans. </li><li>Excellent oral and written skills are mandatory. </li><li>Excellent analytical skills to model compensation and benefit plan design and report-related expenses. </li><li>Excellent planning, time management, decision-making, presentation, organization and interpersonal skills. </li></ul> <p>Required Certification/License/Registry:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certification/License/Registry:</p> <ul> <li>Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the HR Certification Institute or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) through World at Work. </li><li>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
