<p>Hiring Company:</p> <p>Frank Brunckhorst Co., LLC</p> <p>Overview:</p> <p>The Export Coordinator plays a critical role in facilitating the International movement of domestic and imported products while ensuring adherence to evolving global trade policies, tariffs, and regulatory standards. This position oversees registration and compliance for foreign markets, serving as the primary contact for import/export operations across the U.S. and non-U.S. territories. This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager of FSQ & Export Compliance and actively supports global trade initiatives, ensuring compliance with International food safety, labeling, and quality standards.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and coordinate all export operations, ensuring all export certificates are completed in compliance with USDA, FDA, APHIS, AMS, and Foreign authorities. </li><li>Conduct thorough research on destination country import regulations, tariffs, trade agreements (USMCA, CPTPP), and regulatory bodies. </li><li>Maintain and apply working knowledge of Title 15 of the CFR and other applicable federal export regulations, including EAR and ITAR. </li><li>Maintain accurate export records in compliance with 15 CFR §762.6 using Tracegains (internal QMS systems) </li><li>Generate commercial and shipping documents, including certificates of origin, certificates of free sale, and health certificates. </li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing and operations to ensure shipments and delivery timelines are met. </li><li>Stay current on global and domestic policy changes, tariffs, sanctions, and trade restrictions that affect the export of food products. </li><li>Support the company's International regulatory labeling, organic, non-GMO, Kosher, and sustainability compliance requirements. </li><li>Support with freight solutions to reduce costs and environmental impact*. </li><li>Provide export guidance to internal teams and external partners, including up-to-date documentation and regulatory education. </li><li>Ensure ongoing compliance with country-specific FSQR requirements and respond to changes proactively. </li><li>Conduct internal training sessions to maintain team compliance and operational readiness. </li><li>Draft, revise, and standardize SOPs, Manuals, Work Instructions, and risk assessments related to International export practices. </li><li>Conduct annual and periodic reviews of SQF documentation, plant audit registers, and ensure alignment with GFSI standards. </li><li>Lead and support facility audit readiness for regulatory visits (AMS & DOA Audits). </li><li>Participate in cross-functional project teams supporting business growth in emerging markets. </li><li>Support company initiatives and complete additional projects as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>A bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, or a related field is preferred. - A combination of Education, Training, and relevant Experience may be substituted for the preferred degree. </li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in export compliance, logistics, or global trade. </li><li>Demonstrated experience with International regulatory documentation and food exportation processes. </li></ul> <p>Location:</p> <p>Groveport, OH</p> <p>Time Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Department:</p> <p>Quality Control</p>
