This position supports the Facilities Department in the daily operation and maintenance of Axcelis' principal manufacturing and warehousing sites. This role will contribute to the effective management of the environmental, health and safety program at Axcelis' semiconductor equipment manufacturing facilities in Beverly, MA.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and repair facility structure, equipment and grounds </li><li>Perform minor carpentry, painting and floor repairs </li><li>Perform inspection and minor repairs of roofing systems </li><li>Performs building and equipment preventative maintenance such as filter changes and daily inspections </li><li>Maintain equipment logs </li><li>Complete PM and daily work order requests on a computerized maintenance (CMMS) system </li><li>Perform minor repairs on mechanical equipment such as chillers, air compressors, pumps and boilers </li><li>Work with skilled trades, engineers and manufacturing to complete any work requests </li><li>Monitor Building management system and respond to alarms </li><li>Assist with snow removal - shoveling/blowing/ice melt on walkways, stairs, roof, etc. </li><li>Maintain snow removal equipment </li><li>Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency call-in program </li><li>Assist with Hazardous Waste and Recycling management </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3 to 5 years Facility Maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment required </li><li>Basic industrial electrical, plumbing and HVAC understanding required </li><li>Ability to work overtime as needed during special projects required </li><li>Ability to works from blueprints, drawing and rough sketches required </li><li>Building Management System (BMS) experience preferred </li><li>Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience preferred </li></ul> <p>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT</p> <p>It is the policy of Axcelis to provide equal opportunity in all areas of employment for all persons free from discrimination based on race, sex, religion, age, color, national origin, disability status, medical condition (including pregnancy), veteran status, sexual orientation, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as</p> <p>you develop within the role.</p> <p>Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the</p> <p>Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular</p> <p>employees working 20+ hours a week).</p>
