Succeed. #BeHere</p> <p>Location: US:WI:NEW BERLIN at our CP-MOORLAND RESERVE HLTH CTR facility.</p> <p>This job is ON - SITE.</p> <p>FTE: 1.000000</p> <p>Standard Hours: 40.00</p> <p>Shift: Shift 1</p> <p>Shift Details: 8:00a-4:30p Holidays: No Weekends: No</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Performs comprehensive audiologic assessments, including ototoxic monitoring. Recognizes and implements strategies for non-organic hearing loss and appropriate referrals for additional non-behavioral assessment if needed. Cerumen management commiserate with experience and knowledge. Evaluates, selects, fits/dispenses hearing assistive technology, including hearing aids, assistive listening devices and accessories. Hearing aid services to include hearing aid evaluation, hearing aid fitting/dispensing, follow up and ongoing care. Makes recommendations and offer a variety of styles, technologies and manufacturers as well as appropriate accessories and assistive listening devices. Makes appropriate referrals for complex audiological cases for management (eg. implantable, advances assistive listening devices, work accommodations). Recognizes need to make appropriate referrals such as cochlear implant and other implantable devices, vestibular assessments, tinnitus management and otologic consult. Maintains appropriate documentation in medical record. Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>One year experience in an Audiology clinical setting is required.</p> <p>EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Masters degree in Audiology from a college or university accredited by the American Speech-Language Association (ASHA) is required.</p> <p>LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Valid State of Wisconsin Audiologist license or temporary license. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
