<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Position is responsible for the certified level II inspection of forgings by means of magnetic particle inspection and/or liquid penetrant inspection in accordance with written instruction and has the responsibility of performing system performance checks and the documentation of all attesting data.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Perform inspection to ensure part integrity and conduct process control tests to ensure system performance. </li><li>Interpret inspection findings to the applicable specification/standard, techniques and drawings. </li><li>Create method techniques. </li><li>Participate in the effort to keep the department and its equipment clean and orderly. </li><li>Participate in internal and external audits as required. </li><li>Record all applicable data as required, accurately and in a timely manner. </li><li>Partner with Quality Engineering on ISO, AS and NADCAO compliance initiatives. </li><li>Move material throughout the plan workstation by means of a tow lift and hand truck. </li><li>Work with customers to maximize product quality. </li><li>Must take and pass required method examinations to qualify for level II certification. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>This job has no supervisory responsibilities</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
