One Family.</p> <p>Purpose Statement</p> <p>Monitors, controls, and maintains proper operation of the robotic and automated packaging systems, case sealer, uncuffer, metal check, and date codes in the bread and pizza packing area; meeting customer specifications and ensuring food defense and safety.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities and Outcomes</p> <p>Set-up, change over, adjust, service, and operate robots, case uncuffer, and case sealer, and any other related equipment on line.</p> <p>Maintain date code printers, robots and all related equipment to keep in proper running condition.</p> <p>Adjust conveyors and guides on conveyors for various size product cases.</p> <p>Inspect and adjust metal detectors for proper operation.</p> <p>Assist Production Department in labeling and rework of products.</p> <p>Develop and implement new change-over procedures to improve packing efficiency.</p> <p>Perform periodic equipment inspections to identify worn parts or malfunctions requiring maintenance support.</p> <p>Perform all proper documentation and recording of data.</p> <p>Ensure proper supplies are in appropriate areas to prevent down time.</p> <p>Maintain work area in compliance with GMP and BRC food safety standards</p> <p>Work shift is 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, and overtime as required.</p> <p>Ability to work overtime has been and always will be an Essential Function of this position.</p> <p>Regular and consistent Attendance has been and always will be an Essential Function of this position</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Experience</p> <p>Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED required</p> <p>Knowledge, skills, and ability to operate computer programs as needed</p> <p>One year experience in a manufacturing/ industrial environment</p> <p>Medium to high degree of judgment required</p> <p>Basic math skills necessary</p> <p>Follow all GMP's, food safety, and quality policies.</p> <p>Ensures all GMP and all Food hygiene and Food safety standards are in compliance.</p> <p>Report all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen, or magnet deficiencies, glass breakage, and pest harborage.</p> <p>Ensure compliance in the areas of food defense, food regulations, and product / process quality; provide adequate coaching as needed.</p> <p>Record accurate and legible results on documentation</p> <p>Provide adequate housekeeping at all times</p> <p>CRITICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB:</p> <p>The physical capabilities an associate must have to perform the essential functions of this position are:</p> <p>Moderate degree of physical activity on a frequent basis</p> <p>Must be able to lift 55bs</p> <p>Repetitive standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, grasping, climbing, reaching, and moving about the facility</p> <p>Hearing ability to meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.
