Go here to read more about our passion for supporting new teachers.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Michigan teaching certificate required. </li><li>Music (JX) endorsements required (or similar certification). </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for lesson planning and instruction of music curriculum. </li><li>Demonstrates ability to differentiate instruction by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students. </li><li>Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and progress, and modifies instruction methods to fit student needs. </li><li>Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learning of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional development meetings. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. </li><li>Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
