<p>Examination Date</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Water Reclamation Plant Operator II position supports the daily operations of a complex Water Reclamation Facility that operates on a 24/7 basis. This role includes monitoring and operating treatment equipment, conducting routine sampling and testing and ensuring compliance with operational standards. The incumbent will also serve as crew leader in the absence of the Wastewater Treatment Supervisor, overseeing assigned staff and assisting with maintenance decisions.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Certifications</p> <p>Must obtain an Ohio EPA Water Reclamation Operator Class I certification at time of appointment?and maintain?as a term and condition of continued employment.?</p> <p>License Requirements</p> <p>Must possess a valid driver's license at time of appointment and maintain thereafter as a term and condition of continued employment.</p> <p>Promotional Qualifications</p> <p>Must be a full-time permanent or part-time permanent employee in pay grade 123 (Wage) or below, pay grade 29 (Clerical) or below, or equivalent, and been employed for 6 consecutive months by the City of Dayton in a classified Civil Service position.
